Hot GPT Summer – A Summer-Themed Generative AI Event with Drake University
Join Drake University professors Chris Porter and Chris Snider as they kick off their summer vacation with a virtual overview to recent developments in generative artificial intelligence tools. Attendees will learn about recent ChatGPT improvements, increased context windows across language models, talking to your data, plus updates in image generation, audio tools, video generation and more.
Whether you are new to generative AI or a seasoned veteran, this event is for you.

Chris Porter is the director of the artificial intelligence program at Drake University and an associate professor of computer science.
Chris Snider is an associate professor in the Drake University School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
