2023 CBAN Digital Equity Working Group Summit

Join us at Prairie Meadows in Salons 1-3 for a lively and actionable afternoon as we work together to establish a shared vision around digital equity in Central Iowa.

In August 2023, the Community Broadband Action Network convened a group of Central Iowa broadband leaders and advocates to establish the Central Iowa Digital Equity Working Group. That gathering’s goal was to start the important conversation around how Central Iowa will build, deploy, and collaborate on key digital equity initiatives to benefit Central Iowans in need of skills, reliable and affordable access, devices, and more.

From that meeting came the start of a digital equity ecosystem framework designed to map current resources, find the gaps, and identify potential partnerships. On October 5, that work continues – and you’re invited to make your voice heard and learn more about how your organization can get involved.

Did we mention apps and beverages? Oh, yes. No half measures here, we want this to be a fun and meaningful gathering!
