Programmer Analyst/BI

IT- Administrative Information Systems

Develops computer code from general specifications into language appropriate to the assignment; creates application programs of moderate to somewhat complex difficulty to meet user needs for central and/or distributed processes; develops and uses sample input data to test accuracy of program(s); consults with users or senior staff to define subsystem or program requirements; identifies programming and output needs; and reviews and analyzes system/program problems.

Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field required. An associate’s degree in an IT related field plus at least three years of IT related experience may be substituted. Fall 2021 and Spring 2022 graduates will be considered. Degree must be conferred prior to start date. An understanding of administrative uses of computing services, working knowledge of SQL, knowledge or exposure to a relational DBMS, and course work or practical experience with modern programming languages required. Student experience will be considered. Experience with Oracle DBMS, Oracle PL/SQL, and OBIEE reporting experience preferred. Course work or practical experience with data warehouse modeling and construction also preferred.
