They are searching for a qualified Senior Quality Assurance Engineer who will implement a non-standard automated approach to testing. Responsibilities:
- Translate business requirements and design specifications into test cases
- Validate data insertion, update, manipulation, and retrieval
- Develop SQL queries and/or scripts for automated testing to validate application functionality
- Develop queries in order to create or modify test environment data
- Determine the technical merit of queries by reviewing SQL code
- Perform defect management activities which include problem and issue research, analysis, and documentation
- Update test case scenarios and other documentation.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a QA Engineering role
- 3+ years of experience working in an information systems environment
- Excellent communication skills
