Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with internal resources and third parties/vendors
  • Use industry-standard project management principles and practices to execute overall project management duties
  • Support all project sponsors, users, stakeholders, and the IT project team
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Perform risk management
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Delegate project tasks to junior staff members
  • Facilitate team and client meetings

Requirements:

  • Experience working with external parties
  • Financial transaction and/or reinsurance transaction experience would be a plus
  • Current Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Life/annuity/insurance or financial services industry experience
  • Experience working in a Program Management Office environment
