Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with internal resources and third parties/vendors
- Use industry-standard project management principles and practices to execute overall project management duties
- Support all project sponsors, users, stakeholders, and the IT project team
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Perform risk management
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Delegate project tasks to junior staff members
- Facilitate team and client meetings
Requirements:
- Experience working with external parties
- Financial transaction and/or reinsurance transaction experience would be a plus
- Current Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Life/annuity/insurance or financial services industry experience
- Experience working in a Program Management Office environment
