Data Reporting Developer (31196)

Are you a Data Reporting Developer who has strong SSRS experience? Our client is seeking someone with your talents who can develop SQL, T-SQL scripts, and SQL stored procedures. This role will partner with business and operational teams to meet the needs for data and reporting in multiple platforms including ad-hoc data extracts and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports. Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with operations and business units to gain an understanding of data needs
  • Transform business and client data requirements into meaningful data extracts, reports, and data visualizations
  • Develop SQL, T-SQL scripts, and SQL stored procedures
  • Develop basic reports and data visualizations utilizing SSRS
  • Develop and design solutions with security as a critical design requirement for data, systems, and applications
  • Adhere to Agile principles and philosophies
  • Collaborate across teams and across business areas in the spirit of an Agile mindset
  • Manage, monitor, and report risks

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience working in an analyst function where the primary responsibility involves data interaction
  • 2+ years of SSRS report development experience
  • SSRS Developer focused on developing reports for end clients
  • Power BI experience would be a bonus
  • Knowledge of SQL and T-SQL scripting languages
  • General knowledge of Agile methodologies
  • Ability to analyze enterprise-level data sources and determine relationships between those sources
  • General knowledge of MS office tools and data query languages and reporting software
  • Strong communication skills
