Responsibilities:
- Monitor and coordinate job input, execution, and output
- Perform system and application backups across all platforms
- Work very closely with development staff, DBAs, and systems engineers to resolve system errors
- Monitor network, applications, and database environment through the use of automated software packages
- Perform special processing when requested and run systems maintenance jobs for technical staff
- Monitor input, execution, and output of print operations
Requirements:
- 2+ years in computer operations
- Experience supporting the Windows OS, IBM Mainframe, and VMware environments
- Experience supporting both the hardware and software components of a data center
- Preferred experience with automated job scheduling and large data center experience
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Shifts Available:
- 1st shift Monday-Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- 3rd Tuesday-Saturday 11:30 PM to 7:30 AM
- Holiday rotation and backup team on the weekend as needed
