Palmer Group is partnering with a well-established banking organization in their search for a Systems Administrator. Responsibilities:
- Detect, analyze, and resolve system issues associated with server operating systems and applications software
- Ensure system changes are implemented correctly for all affected servers and personal computers
- Monitor system performance
- Maintain and troubleshoot aspects of Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
- Administer VoIP systems and systems supporting VoIP software
- Install phones
- Develop and maintain system documentation to track application and server administration
- Provide customer support by analyzing and resolving user problems
- Recommend improvements to Technology systems
- Train users on new or modified software applications
- Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers for repairs, maintenance, and warranty work on software or outsourced services
- Investigate, implement, maintain, upgrade and test new applications and/or operating systems
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of IT experience
- Advanced knowledge of a range of computer/server software and hardware systems and related technologies
- Able to plan, develop, and coordinate multiple projects
- Proficient in troubleshooting application problems using standard troubleshooting principles and fundamentals
- Skilled at taking initiative and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills
