We have partnered with our client in their search for a SQL Data Developer. The ideal candidate will have at least ten years of experience. Responsibilities:
- Serve as technical lead to strategic and enterprise-level data-driven projects
- Design, implement and update best practices for the data development team
- Develop and review complex SQL, T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, SSIS workflows, Azure Data Factory pipelines for various reporting and data development projects
- Develop and design solutions with security as a critical design requirement for data, systems, and applications
- Provide production support to SSIS development tickets
Requirements:
- Expert in SQL tuning in SQL Server and/or Snowflake.
- Ability to look at database SQL plans and recommend SQL changes to developers
- Must have strong knowledge of database optimizer, hints, indexing, and join strategies.
- Ability to trace SQL calls to understand performance issues.
- Strong SSIS development skills
- Strong T-SQL and SQL Server database development experience
