Senior Infrastructure Specialist (31366)

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, research, and initiate corrective action regarding network thresholds, alarms, routers, and visual events
  • Ensure systems and network availability is maintained for PC’s and communications equipment on the Wide Area Network (WAN) and Local Area Network (LAN)
  • Notify technical or management staff of issues regarding the network
  • Assist in the designing of network infrastructure
  • Configure network equipment according to specified guidelines
  • Define and adjust monitoring tools to accommodate new systems
  • Identify and research problems in order to resolve or prevent disruptions of the network availability
  • Resolve complex to highly complex issues with the network
  • Mentor more junior team members
  • Plan and execute disaster recovery testing and recovery efforts
  • Create and maintain network and infrastructure diagrams

Requirements:

  • 6-7+ years of network administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance experience required
  • Associates Degree in Network Systems or Computer Applications
  • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
  • Advanced understanding and experience with Cisco, Palo Alto Firewalls, and Dell products
  • Maraki switches and MX devices and SD-WAN tunnels experience
  • Strong experience in inter-site and intra-site routing using standard Cisco protocols
  • Intermediate SAML and SSO experience
  • Familiar with Circuit management including IT phone-based circuits
  • Able to perform Quality-of-Service (QoS) tuning
  • Virtual faxing services and FXO/FXS modules experience
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
