Responsibilities:
- Handle application security assessments and code review as part of the software development lifecycle
- Develop, educate, promote, and monitor the use of secure software development practices
- Work with developers to implement and refine security checkpoints in the SDLC
- Develop secure coding standards that are based on industry-accepted best practices
- Manage the application security scanning process
- Implement and govern automated secure coding tools and processes
- Perform security activities
- Assist with periodic security risk assessments, IT security audits, and management reporting
- Build, maintain, and enforce application security development policies, procedures, and standards
Requirements:
- 3+ years of prior application security experience
- Understanding of application vulnerability management and how it ties together with app development
- 3+ years of experience serving in a cybersecurity department
- Understanding of the clear differences with development with security in mind
- Collaboration skills
