Senior HRIS Technical Analyst – Workday

The Senior HRIS Analyst will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day support and maintenance of the functional and technical aspects of Meredith’s Workday environment.

 

This role primarily works with Human Resources, Benefits, Compensations and Payroll teams. This role is the technical point of contact between different functional departments and clients/stakeholders. This role will create and maintain system integrations, configuring security roles, business process security policies, and domain security policies.  This role also partners with subject matter expert (SME) to ensure data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analysis of data flows for process improvement

 

The Senior HRIS Analyst’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Participate in the ongoing design, configuration, security and reporting for Workday HCM, Recruiting, Talent and Performance, Compensation, Time off and Leave, Time Tracking, Payroll, Benefits and Projects.
Perform Workday Functional Lead responsibilities as needed such as leading design sessions, configuring and unit testing, and supporting end to end testing.
Partner and build relationships with stakeholders to advance Workday adoption and ease of use.
Research problems. Identify opportunities and seek opinions and feedback on suggested solutions.
Frequently provide status updates on ‘in progress’ work items or projects assigned.
Participate in analyzing, testing, and adopting functionality from bi-annual Workday releases.
Assist with regression testing, controls and documentation alongside release of any new functionality or changes to current configuration environment.
Translate business requirements into technical requirements
Create and Manage integrations utilizing such required data software tools including: Cloud Connect, Workday Studio, EIB Templates, or Web Service Calls.
Document and communicate issues found in testing and manage the process for remediating the issues
Provide end-user troubleshooting, issue remediation, and escalation management.
Work with application owners to create and deliver system training

Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered.

 

Education:

BS/BA in Business Administration, Information Technology or equivalent education or experience.

 

Experience:

Minimum 5 years HRIS experience including requirements gathering, testing plan development, user documentation, and implementation of HRIS modules or systems

 

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

General understanding of human resource, benefits, compensation and payroll processes
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills are essential.
Knowledge/experience with Workday desired.
Proven record of setting delivery commitments and meeting expectations.
Analytical mindset with strong ability to identify, troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
Ability to manage multiple, high priority tasks and adjust to shifting priorities, while meeting deadlines.
Must be self-motivated and able to work independently as well as on a team.
Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to learn new systems and processes.
Ability to work within a team environment with global team members and time-zones.
% Travel Required (Approximate): 10%-15%
