We are seeking a talented Solutions Architect Intern to support our Solutions Architecture team in research efforts, new technology adoption, standards definition, and related software development lifecycle (SDLC) support. The intern will work directly on the Solution Architecture team that creates designs for all technology projects that come through the organization. They will have the opportunity to work with product and application development teams to assist with coming up with a design.

This internship opportunity is part of our Summer 2023 Internship Program which takes place May 15- August 11. This is a remote position.

WHAT YOU CAN LOOK FORWARD TO:

Work alongside senior level people to learn the design of systems and solutions within the financial technology industry.
Help maintain architecture document repositories and application inventories.
Exposure to enterprise architecture review board process and design authority meetings.
Learn how to analyze system requirements and ensure that systems will offer secure solutions and will be effectively integrated with current applications.
Support efforts to organize and update documentation.
Work with members of the product team to assess needs and figure out the underlying issue that needs to be solved.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
Solid understanding of cloud technologies (Azure knowledge/experience is a plus).
Knowledge of databases and data tools is beneficial.
Highly collaborative and able to communicate technical content to a non-technical person.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
A self-starter and team player with a strong desire for delivery.
Eager to learn new skills and come up with innovative ways to solve complex problems.

REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

12 completed semester hours at college or university in an applicable field of study.
