Systems Analysis Manager (31027)

Palmer Group is working with our downtown Des Moines client in their search for a Systems Analysis Manager. This person will be responsible for system analysis, data analysis, and requirements management for applications and data integration. Responsibilities:

  • Manage system analysis, data analysis, and requirements for applications and data integration
  • Manage systems and data requirements with the team, business, and vendors
  • Lead the maturation of the requirements management process, tools, and practices
  • Support data mapping and conversion efforts between internal and external systems
  • Facilitate meetings to discuss status, business needs, plans, and roadmaps
  • Ensure coverage of requirements, scope, resources, and timelines
  • Plan and prioritize across multiple projects/programs
  • Collaborate with project managers and sponsors to refine scope, vision, and delivery
  • Recommend the controls and audit processes for system implementations
  • Support the development of test plans and strategies
  • Support the enterprise data strategy, data quality, and data governance initiatives

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience with business and technical requirements, data analysis, modeling and mapping, verification, and traceability
  • 3+ years of experience managing direct reports
  • Insurance industry experience, and knowledge of Annuity and Life products
  • Vendor management experience
  • Experience with Systems Developments Life Cycle methodologies
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
