The Technology Association of Iowa (TAI) today announced the launch of a newly formed peer networking group, the Chief Data and Analytics Officer (CDAO) Roundtable—a dedicated space for Iowa’s data and analytics leaders to exchange practical insights and collaborate on advancing data maturity, talent, and strategy.

Designed for senior data and analytics executives, the CDAO Roundtable convenes C-level leaders to share strategic perspectives on data governance, data quality, analytics, and security. Through peer-driven discussion, participants will explore common challenges, proven approaches, and emerging strategies that strengthen how data-driven insights fuel business outcomes.

The newly formed roundtable will be chaired by Laks Krishnamoorthy, Vice President of Data and Analytics at EMC Insurance Companies. Krishnamoorthy expressed his enthusiasm for the group, stating: “I look forward to working with all of you to shape this roundtable as a peer-driven community that accelerates both innovation and outcomes for the organizations and communities we serve.”

Meeting quarterly in a hybrid format, the CDAO Roundtable is open to C-level data and analytics leaders (or comparable job titles) from TAI member organizations. Not a TAI member? Join here.
