Member News: Scholarship opportunity – Principal® sponsors Black History Month Challenge

You are invited to participate in the Principal-sponsored EVERFI Black History Month Challenge! February is Black History Month in the US, and throughout February we recognize and celebrate the many contributions African Americans have made to society, business and industry, STEM, the arts, armed services, and more, notwithstanding pervasive discrimination.

The Challenge is a web-based hour-long, four-part course. Students in the 9th – 12th grades who complete all the courses and submit a capstone essay can compete for one of three scholarships.

To access the curriculum and submit an essay, visit https://principal-financial-group.everfi-next.net/welcome/bhm. While the official program dates are February 1 – 12, the curriculum and capstone essay competition are accessible on the website for the entire month of February.
