Systems/Applications Administrator
IT – Specialized Systems
Installs and configures primarily Windows systems and hardware and software supporting UNI’s specialized vended solution systems and devices; installs and configures application software; coordinates implementation and revision of applications; collaborates with others to establish recovery and security strategies for specialized vended systems; leads efforts to implement recovery and security strategies for the systems they are responsible for; monitors performance of MS Windows based systems; and works with users to implement policies and procedures for specialized vended computer systems related to both the development and administration of these systems.
This role is onsite or hybrid. Remote work must be performed within the state of Iowa.
Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field required. At least two years of system administration experience in a university or related environment. Experience installing and maintaining Windows OS also required.
