Asst Information Technology Specialist, IT – Client Services

A defined career path exists. Based on experience, the successful candidate will be hired into one of two levels of professional opportunity: Assistant Information Technology Specialist or Information Technology Specialist and will be given the opportunity to progress through the career path by achieving defined performance objectives once employed.

Primary duties for Assistant Information Technology Specialist: Installs, configures, maintains, and supports client device technology across campus including desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, classroom technology, and software; serves as a client-device and technology expert for campus; creates and maintains a client-device and technologies inventory in order to better inform clients; and manages or administers tools and systems in use by Client Service in the pursuit of providing excellent service to campus. Additional duties required for Information Technology Specialist position.

Bachelor’s degree required. Fall 2021 graduates will be considered. Degree must be conferred prior to start date. Candidates able to start on or before December 27, 2021 are preferred. At least one year of end user technical support, providing customer service, and client device support experience in a large or enterprise environment; and demonstrated excellence in communication required. At least one year of experience in a higher education setting preferred. Student experience will be considered.
