MS Dynamics Developer

TrueNorth Companies is searching for a MS Dynamics Developer to join our Technology team! The MS Dynamics Developer’s role is to automate business processes to improve efficiencies and client experience and fuel revenue growth using technology. This position may be located in Iowa (Cedar Rapids or Des Moines), Illinois (Chicago/Rosemont), or Colorado (Denver or Longmont).

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Specifically working on sales management systems
  • Work with department leaders and analysts to understand business requirements related to software, integrations, and data analytic needs.
  • Provide guidance for system changes and enhancements to sales management systems including Microsoft Dynamics platform.
  • Responsible for the administration, configuration, development, and support of various application solutions
  • Assist with the management of outsourced resource to prioritize tasks and ensure timely delivery.
  • Prepare and install solutions by analyzing business needs, determining, and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
  • Develop and support software solutions to support the business strategy.
  • Perform revision, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements.
  • Improve operations by conducting systems analysis, recommending changes, implementing changes.
  • Work with other 3rd party vendors in the implementation of software solutions, integrations, and upgrades.
  • Prepare detailed workflow charts and diagrams that describe input, output, and logical operation, and convert them into high quality computer programs.
  • Write, analyze, review, and rewrite programs, using design diagrams, and applying knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, and symbolic logic.
  • Conduct various testing cycles and trial runs of programs and software applications to be sure they will produce the desired results.
  • Compile and write documentation of program development and subsequent revisions.
  • Write or contribute to instructions or manuals to guide end users.
  • Thrive in a dynamic, high performance culture with minimal supervision.
  • Increase job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment, participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations.
  • Possess strong commitment to team environment dynamics with the ability to contribute expertise and follow leadership directives at appropriate times.
  • Play key role as a Microsoft Dynamics technical expert and administrator.
