Sales Executive


Structurely is a fast-paced software company based in Ames, Iowa that solves businesses’ problem of not being able to follow up with their leads. Structurely has created a cutting edge Artificial Intelligence Sales Assistant that will follow up with online leads via text message and qualify them in a relationship-building, empathetic, indistinguishable-from-human way.


We need your help to get our artificial intelligence inside sales agent, Aisa Holmes, in the hands of as many sales and marketing teams as possible. As a Sales Executive, you’ll work directly with prospective customers as they evaluate their online lead follow up needs. You’ll be responsible for managing prospects through the entire sales process – from the first contact to close. You will be essential in helping us set, drive and execute on our revenue goals and ultimately bring us closer to our vision of making Structurely the conversational AI platform for sales and marketing teams.


You will be working directly with the Structurely leadership team to scale our sales operations. The Structurely leadership team has deep industry knowledge and relationships that will help you to thrive in your new role. Members of our sales team have a few things in common – they go above and beyond for our prospective customers, they are intrinsically curious and are highly ambitious.



  • Attend Closing Camp – Structurely’s cross-functional onboarding program all new employees go through to understand our story, product, and industry
  • Participate in our week-long sales boot camp where you’ll focus on understanding sales messaging, buyer personas and our competition
  • Have a deep understanding of the market and how Structurely fits into the landscape
  • Be on your way to becoming a Structurely product aficionado
  • Become demo certified!



  • Start to build your pipeline from inbound marketing leads and your own self-sourced opportunities
  • Close your first deal – cha-ching!
  • Have attended 15 one-on-one training sessions with sales leadership to improve your sales skills and techniques
  • Complete more than 50 demos
  • Become a Structurely product aficionado
  • Collaborate with Structurely teammates to brainstorm ways to deliver an improved sales experience for our prospects



  • Hit (and exceed) your quota!
  • Maintain a pipeline of more than 250 prospects in HubSpot
  • Complete more than 150 demos with prospects
  • Identify one area of improvement that needs to be made and develop a plan for improving in this area



  • Be a Structurely sales machine!
  • Mentor and train new sales team members as they ramp and learn our sales process


Job requirements

  • 1-3 years of sales experience (bonus for software sales)
  • A consultative and human sales approach
  • A knack for asking great questions to understand the prospect’s unique situation
  • Crystal clear written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to proactively engage new clients through phone and email
  • Insatiable curiosity
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing environment
  • Proven track record of exceeding your quota
