Applications Developer

Develop and support enterprise-level applications for the company and its many business units.  Deliver technology solutions as you work with team members and end users in an agile environment and within all phases of the software development life cycle, including design, development, testing, and implementation.   Mentor other application developers and help set development standards and practices across complete technology stack.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Problem solve by troubleshooting, researching, analyzing code and data for new and existing applications.
  • Plan, develop code, unit test, debug, and document new and existing applications. Assist in the application design and elicitation of requirements.
  • Follow and help establish departmental development standards and practices, including documenting formal procedures.
  • Mentor and train other team members on technology, standards, and business acumen.
  • Proactively seek opportunities for continuous improvements.
  • Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education
    Course(s) of study: Computer Science, MIS, Math, or related field.
  • 3-5 years’ relevant experience in application development.
  • Requires previous experience, coursework, and/or knowledge of Microsoft’s Net platform including Azure, ASP.NET, C#, HTML, JavaScript, WebAPI, and SQL Server.
  • Must have strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to carry out detailed written and oral instructions.
  • Must have the ability to work multiple tasks under tight time constraints.
  • Requires the ability to set priorities and accomplish duties with little supervision and direction.
