Data Quality Analyst

Job Summary

The Data Quality Analyst is responsible for ensuring our data (customer info, vendor info, pricing files, etc) is complete and accurate.  In this role, the Data Quality Analyst will build and maintain various processes as needed to streamline and fast-track data gathering and manipulation.  This role is integral in our mission to provide customers, vendors and employees with the best, most accurate information possible.  The role is best suited for someone who enjoys manipulating data in Excel, digging into databases to discover its secrets, and automating manual processes.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the following processes:
    • Part set-up (maintaining consistency)
    • Rebates (entry, submission, review, etc.)
    • Special pricing agreements (SPAs)
  • Upload pricing files and ensure accuracy of pricing system
  • Serve as database manager
  • Work with various departments in improving data processes

Minimum Requirements

  • Software:
    • Excel expert
    • Working knowledge of Crystal Reporting
    • Epicor Prophet 21 ERP experience (preferred)
  • Two years of experience working directly with company data while leveraging Excel, Database, etc.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Good planning and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, organized and energetic.
  • Capable of staying cool under pressure with multiple ongoing projects.
  • Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.

Working Conditions

  • Possess the mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment
  • Sitting in a normal seated position for extended period of time
  • Reaching by extending hand(s) or arm(s) in any direction
  • Finger dexterity required to manipulate objects with fingers rather than with whole hand(s) or arm(s), for example, using a keyboard
  • Have the strength to lift and carry files weighing up to 10 pounds
