Software Engineer Full Stack (45402)

Our Des Moines-based client is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to design, develop,  and maintain user interfaces, backend systems, and integrations that power core products and services. This role will support the development of secure, scalable, and high-performing applications through close collaboration with cross-functional teams. It will also emphasize continuous learning, hands-on development, and the delivery of dependable technical solutions that meet business and partner needs.

What You Will Do:

– Build and maintain front-end and back-end systems, integrations, and APIs
– Provide ongoing support and enhancement for existing applications and features
– Support the development of data models and data access patterns
– Contribute to scalable full stack architectures
– Collaborate in code reviews and design discussions
– Assist in developing system design artifacts and technical documentation
– Support the maintenance of cloud-based and hybrid environments (Azure preferred)
– Use containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes)

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

– Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
– At least 3 years of experience in software development
– Full-stack development experience
– Previous experience with: Node.js and modern front-end tooling
– SQL and relational databases
– .NET / .NET Core and C#
– JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, etc.)
– RESTful API
