Hardware Support Technician (48244)

We’re seeking a skilled Hardware Support Technician to join our client’s team. In this role, you’ll deliver hands-on support for computers, peripherals, software, and integrated technology as part of the Customer Support Services team. You’ll also handle operational support and troubleshoot issues across individual components and systems, working directly with end-users to resolve technical and functional challenges. What you will do:

  • Deliver outstanding customer support
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, peripherals, software, and educational technology systems
  • Collaborate with end users to resolve technical challenges and optimize technology usage
  • Travel to various sites to install, demonstrate, service, and repair equipment
  • Monitor and document equipment performance issues and deficiencies
  • Conduct operational training for end users through hands-on sessions and/or develop technical documentation for installed systems
  • Manage setup, operation, and dismantling of audiovisual equipment for events

What you will need to be successful:

  • Associate degree or equivalent certification in computer science or a related discipline
  • 1–3 years of proven experience in desktop support, A/V technology, educational technology, or similar roles
  • Exceptional organizational abilities, customer service aptitude, and clear communication skills
  • Strong focus on accuracy and detail in all tasks
  • A positive, approachable, and respectful demeanor when interacting with others
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), macOS, and Adobe Flash Media Live
  • CompTIA A+ certification preferred
  • InfoComm CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) preferred
