Our downtown client is looking for a knowledgeable, experienced Technology Support Specialist. This role will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day office technology systems and end-user support. Additionally, you will solve problems, maintain documents, and work on other IT-related projects. Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal technical support tickets
  • Provide exceptional customer service as a member of the support team
  • Solve problems while following internal guidelines
  • Utilize and manage the company’s up-to-date ticket tracking and asset management system
  • Maintain and update thorough documentation
  • Support and solve problems specific to office technology development, implementation, and maintenance via phone, in-person and online
  • Develop relationships with third-party hardware and software vendors
  • Develop procedures and supportive office technology system documentation in compliance with policy and regulatory requirements
  • Work closely with the Application Support team on IT-related projects

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Help desk software, phone support, and customer service experience
  • Experience procuring, implementing, and supporting computer hardware, software systems, printers, and basic networking
  • Demonstrated work experience supporting/maintaining office technology systems
  • Expert analytical skills, language and reasoning ability
  • Able to read and interpret documents, operating and procedure manuals
  • Basic knowledge of report writing
  • Able to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Excellent communication, customer service, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
