Systems Engineer (31780)

Responsibilities:

  • Build and support physical and virtualized servers
  • Create and maintain complex systems for internal and external customers
  • Ensure security in the design requirements and in the implementation of infrastructure
  • Assist in the requirements definition process and gain a clear understanding of the appropriate business requirements by communicating with internal business partners
  • Work with project team members to develop requirements, scope documents, and project estimates
  • Lead the creation of technical design documents on complex projects
  • Provide oversight to project team members on infrastructure best practices
  • Manage, monitor, and report risks

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience with Windows Server and SCCM
  • 5+ years of SCCM experience
  • Experienced with Vulnerability Remediation tools such as Rapid 7 or Qualys
  • Proven experience in an enterprise patching program
  • Expert knowledge of networking protocols, LANs/WANs, telecommunications networks, and application software
  • Skilled in creating and maintaining system scripts, user and group administration, security, tuning, configuration, and monitoring of servers
  • Well-versed in ITIL standards
  • Skilled in creating and updating documentation as part of infrastructure implementations
  • Able to write and/or implement scripts for automation
  • Expert analytical, design, and problem-solving skills
