Our reputable Des Moines client is looking for a Network/Telecommunications Engineer to acquire, install, maintain and administer the company’s data, voice, and wireless network, maintain firewalls and WAN infrastructure environment.   • Troubleshoot voice and data network infrastructure problems and associated component problems to include switches, routers, and firewalls
  • Respond to network users concerning their access to resources on the network
  • Ensure proper execution of scheduled tasks, and resolution of issues and requests by performing daily operational tasks and system reviews
  • Administer, maintain, and operate the network infrastructure
  • Install and support the organization’s telecommunications infrastructure and its associated software
  • Inspect, test, and maintain telephone lines, circuits, trunks, and associated wiring and cabling
  • Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of intermediate telecommunications problems for end-users
  • Recommend and assist with implementation of solutions


  • Experience with PBXs, call management systems, voice mail, Automatic Call Distribution (ACD), call recording, and video conferencing systems
  • Able to participate in a 24×7 weekly on-call rotation
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills
