One of our large clients is looking for a Lead UX Designer to support their eCommerce products. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating user-friendly solutions that are intuitive and consistent with best practices. Responsibilities:

  • Create design solutions and user experiences
  • Function as a project leader as well as an individual contributor
  • Manage the design process throughout the entire project, drive decisions, track issues, and work with development
  • Communicate design choices and direction to multiple stakeholders
  • Research, conceive, wireframe, sketch, prototype, and mock-up user experiences in order to facilitate product visions
  • Conduct usability testing and analyze user feedback and activity
  • Identify design problems and devise solutions
  • Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features
  • Provide valuable insight into user interface design best practices

Requirements:

  • Degree in a related field and experience with eCommerce products preferred
  • 5+ years of experience designing interfaces for software, apps, or the web
  • Experience leading and directing the work of other designers
  • Understanding of mobile-first, responsive design and systems
  • Experience using and contributing to a design system
  • Extensive user interface prototyping experience
  • Proficient in utilizing tools such as Adobe, Invision, or Sketch
  • Agile methodology and practices expertise
  • Excellent communication skills
