We have a wonderful opportunity with a great insurance institution in West Des Moines! Our client is looking to bring on a Java Developer that’s skilled in writing reusable code libraries. This position will translate application storyboards and use cases between development and new system strategy and implementation. If you have at least three years of experience, apply today!
Responsibilities:
- Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
- Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs and formulate solutions
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience
- Proficient in applicable languages with knowledge of appropriate ecosystems
- Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
- Skilled in writing reusable code libraries
- Possess knowledge of applicable patterns, concepts, frameworks, and services
- Expert in writing clean and readable code
- Understand the fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- Understand the class loading mechanisms
