Information Technology User Experience Designer (30964)

Palmer Group is currently recruiting professionals for a contract opportunity within a large financial company based in the Des Moines area. This is an Information Technology User Experience Designer role that will create user interaction task flows, as well as develop mock-ups, wireframes, and prototypes. The ideal candidate will possess at least three years of UI/UX/Interaction Design experience.   • Create and design elements or components resulting in high-quality user experience designs
  • Create wireframes, mock-ups, prototypes, and specifications
  • Translate analytics data into visual designs
  • Create user interaction task flows
  • Assist in pre and post-development usability testing
  • Create and maintain project and overall system design artifacts
  • Address complex applications and experiences by conducting design workshops with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Perform user experience research insights and recommendations
  • Conduct quality assurance on implemented designs


  • 3-5+ years of UI/UX/Interaction Design
  • Experience working in a UX role or on a UX team
  • Experience with Figma, Sketch, or InVision
  • Working knowledge of software development and testing practices
  • Agile development methodologies experience
  • Experience with data driven analytics tools such as ContentSquare, Adobe Analytics, or Google Analytics
  • Experienced in using design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, Adobe XD, Adobe Illustrator, or Axure
  • Able to deliver clean and usable interfaces while applying visual brand guidelines
  • Experience creating wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
