Palmer Group has partnered with our client in their search for a Help Desk Support Specialist. The chosen candidates will join their team on a contract basis. Qualified candidates will have previous customer service experience, strong communication skills, and proven critical thinking skills. This role will perform desktop and help desk support. Responsibilities:

  • Perform desktop and help desk support
  • Provide tier-one help desk support with technical issues via phone, email, and ticketing system
  • Provide network support for all users
  • Set up new desktops/laptops and design
  • Configure and test computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software
  • Update inventory of electronic equipment
  • Escalate service requests and incidents when needed

Requirements:

  • 5+ year of experience providing customer support to end-users
  • Experience with Active Directory and Windows Security
  • Microsoft Office Suite 2007, 2016, Google G Suite, and Adobe products experience
  • Experience with Windows Operating Systems including Windows 7 and 10 along with Chrome OS
  • VM Ware
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
