Our global client is needing assistance with an abundance of projects for their Hana database environment. The Senior Hana Database Engineer will be a key member of the Database Engineering team that will be responsible for new builds, optimization, security hardening, upgrades, and escalated support. We are recruiting senior-level professionals that can hit the ground running with this large effort.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Hana DBA Lead with the new implementation of Hana databases in Azure
- Provide occasional support to the legacy Hana environment
- Support the SAP development teams with requests
- Provide escalated support from the run and maintain team
- Support the team with various projects that include:
- Optimization and support of the newly implemented Hana environment on Azure
- Responsible for security hardening (following our client’s standards and best practices)
- ORT testing and validation
Requirements:
- 10-15+ years of experience as a database administrator
- Must have experience as a Senior DBA supporting Hana databases on the Azure platform
