Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership for our client’s Exasol database environment running on the AWS cloud platform
- Monitor capacity and performance levels and plan for upgrades or changes to the system
- Configure and optimize the environment using best practices and recommendations
- Support development team to recommend changes for performance improvement as per requirement
- Implement security for all the databases and monitor security logs
- Manage and maintain disaster recovery plans for the database environment
Requirements:
- 10-15 years of experience with database systems architecture, engineering and administration
- Experience providing technical leadership for Exasol running on the AWS platform
- Skills with Denodo, Lua scripting, AWS, AWS CLI, CloudFormation, and Confluence technologies
