Responsibilities:
- Secure enterprise information by determining and documenting security requirements
- Plan, implement and test security systems
- Serve as the Technology Leader and Information Security Subject Matter Expert (SME)
- Determine security requirements
- Adhere to CMS software certification requirements
- Evaluate business strategies and requirements
- Research information security policies and standards
- Conduct system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments
- Evaluate the systems architecture and identify integration issues
- Analyze existing systems/processes and recommend future technologies and associated processes
- Participate in the RFI/RFP process for systems module selection
- Participate in the procurement process to select a systems integrator to execute the DDI phase
Requirements:
- CISSP certification is required
- Extensive experience designing and implementing enterprise security architectures based on NIST Risk Management Framework, state and federal security standards, and security industry best practices
- Understanding of security tools and software products
- In-depth experience in creating, documenting, and implementing enterprise security policies and standards
- Experience working with large project teams and information security offices
- Experience delivering in an agile or iterative delivery environment
- Strong communication skills
