Business Intelligence Analyst (32599)

Our successful client is partnering with Palmer Group in their search for a Business Intelligence Analyst. The individual selected for this role will need in-depth experience with Power BI. In this role, you will be partnering with the business to analyze and build dashboards from their global IT project management system. Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement report dashboards using Power BI
  • Identify and follow reporting software use best practices, document guidelines and procedures, and contribute to training the organization on the project management software applications
  • Find creative ways to analyze and display IT Project data for the business
  • Monitor and fix data quality issues of visualizations and data warehouse applications
  • Develop and test Power BI visualizations for the dashboard and ad-hoc reporting solutions by connecting from different data sources and databases
  • Author reports using Power BI, SRSS, Excel Services, and Excel

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience developing and deploying Power BI reports and dashboards in an enterprise setting
  • 5+ years of experience as a BI Analyst performing data analysis, profiling, testing and validation
  • Demonstrated knowledge of designing and developing with Power BI
  • Experience gathering and refining business requirements
  • Experience with Microsoft Project and/or SharePoint desired
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
