Our client is seeking a Business Analyst with experience in system implementation projects. Candidates should have strong communication skills for this contract opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Work to implement the WorkDay Financial Management system
- Determine if data included in the file has corresponding data fields in WorkDay to identify any configuration dependencies
- Determine new processes, training impacts, etc. by identifying with Finance SME’s and any manual manipulation or intervention of the data file that exists
- Identify gaps or translation/transformation or formatting required to integrate with Workday
- Create or update requirements documentation for the integration which could include data flow diagrams, business rules, triggers, and UI configuration requirements
- Define acceptance criteria and identify test cases to validate the data output
- Review and test that data flows as expected
- Partner with the Application Developers, Implementation Partner, Technical Analyst, and other Business Analysts
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and attention to detail skills
- Able to elicit business requirements for data integrations
- Understanding of basic UI functionalities and user experience
- Experience with system implementation projects
- Understand, analyze and document business processes
- Experience with Accounting functions, Financial General Ledger, and reporting is a plus
