Responsibilities:
- Understand business and system needs by facilitating and leading interviews with stakeholders
- Translate needs into effective business and functional requirements documents
- Employ various business analysis techniques to create business and functional requirements
- Analyze business problems and recommend creative solutions
- Support data gathering for business case and cost benefit analysis (CBA) documents
- Facilitate, prioritize, propose, and document business process re-design
- Partner with Quality Assurance
- Identify and document testing considerations, develop traceability matrices, and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business areas
- Prepare and present clear, concise, and timely communication
- Participate in peer review sessions
- Present business requirement documents
- Mentors less experienced analysts
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 4+ years of business analysis experience
- Understanding of business analysis concepts
- Proficient with Project Management and Software Development Life Cycle methodologies (SDLC)
- Knowledge of agile methodologies
- Experience working with reporting, policy data and data definitions
- Skilled using Microsoft Office products (Excel, Access, Visio, Project, PowerPoint)
