Responsibilities:
- Lead a team that is responsible for database, middleware, and the DevOps engineering
- Collaborate between infrastructure operations and application development teams
- Oversee team building and staff development activities as well as the ongoing operation of key systems
- Ensure corrective actions are taken to prevent system problems, and business system impacts are reported to information technology management and stakeholders
- Serve as the key liaison between information technology operations and business areas to interpret and analyze complex business problems
- Design and ensure compliance with underlying principles, assumptions, and strategies
- Maintain the integrity of applications and make recommendations for improvement
- Identify systems problems, work with technical team, and communicate issues/status/resolution
Requirements:
- 8+ years of relevant information technology leadership experience required
- Understanding of the inter-relationship between business and technology needs
- Familiar with technical architecture and application system designs
- Well-rounded background with multiple IT infrastructure and development platforms
