Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team that is responsible for database, middleware, and the DevOps engineering
  • Collaborate between infrastructure operations and application development teams
  • Oversee team building and staff development activities as well as the ongoing operation of key systems
  • Ensure corrective actions are taken to prevent system problems, and business system impacts are reported to information technology management and stakeholders
  • Serve as the key liaison between information technology operations and business areas to interpret and analyze complex business problems
  • Design and ensure compliance with underlying principles, assumptions, and strategies
  • Maintain the integrity of applications and make recommendations for improvement
  • Identify systems problems, work with technical team, and communicate issues/status/resolution

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of relevant information technology leadership experience required
  • Understanding of the inter-relationship between business and technology needs
  • Familiar with technical architecture and application system designs
  • Well-rounded background with multiple IT infrastructure and development platforms
