We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer open to an opportunity in the Des Moines metro or Atlanta area. This is a chance for someone to perform enterprise project work for new and existing custom and client server-based applications. Position available in Atlanta or Des Moines.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and support physical and virtualized servers
  • Perform infrastructure maintenance activities such as patching, capacity planning, monitoring, configuration management, troubleshooting, and resolving highly complex production problems
  • Create and maintain complex systems for the benefit of internal and external customers
  • Communicate with internal business partners to assist in the requirements definition process
  • Work to develop requirements, scope documents, and project estimates
  • Lead the creation of technical design documents on complex projects
  • Provide oversight to project team members on infrastructure best practices
  • Manage, monitor, and report risks

Requirements: 

  • Windows Engineer experience
  • Linux server engineering as a secondary skillset
  • Advanced skills in performing infrastructure maintenance activities
  • Experience in a Systems Engineer environment
  • Knowledgeable in virtualization technologies
  • IIS experience is highly beneficial
  • Able to lead project initiatives, estimations, and drive them to completion
  • PCI background would be a plus
