Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the technical components of the company’s platform solution project
  • Establish overall technical architecture vision for the platform solution and create technical architecture blueprints
  • Align scope with existing product capabilities and identify options to meet the business requirements
  • Review business requirements from a technical implementation perspective and provide feedback to business analysts
  • Decompose the technical architecture into more granular, elaboration design, and implementation work items
  • Provide process and standards feedback to the broader architecture team
  • Provide leadership to a team of software engineers
  • Review requirements, designs, and code to enable continued growth and to foster an overall culture of engineering excellence

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience required
  • 2+ years as a software designer or architect
  • Java, relational and non-relational databases, Angular UI framework, web application architecture, DevSecOps, and cloud computing experience is preferred
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills
