Software Engineer (31053)

Responsibilities:

  • Use Microsoft .Net programming languages to design scalable web and windows-based applications for both internal and external users
  • Design and develop RESTful APIs that can be consumed by presentation layers, batch programs, other APIs, and third parties
  • Establish programmatic tasks and perform unit tests of features and solutions
  • Follow standards for design, security, efficiency, application logging, monitoring/alerting, and documentation
  • Utilize best practices in CI/CD using Microsoft DevOps Pipelines
  • Participate in on-call rotation to support new and existing product
  • Interact with customers via phone and e-mail

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience using cloud in production
  • 3+ years of experience working as a Software Engineer on application development
  • Experience using multiple programming languages with a main emphasis on Microsoft technologies
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Windows operating systems
  • Experienced in object-oriented design and programming techniques
  • Visual Studio .NET core, ASP.Net, C#, XML, XSLT, CSS, Microservices, Ajax/jQuery, REST/SOAP, HTML5/CSS, Swagger and Microsoft SQL server experience
  • Knowledge of SSIS, SSRS, XML, and XML Schema development
  • Knowledge of Linux OS, Kubernetes and docker containers
  • Outstanding communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
