Responsibilities:

  • Lead a software development team in delivering cutting edge solutions to external users
  • Build, maintain, and support technical software solutions and effectively manage and utilize the environments that support them
  • Supervise the development plans, performance reviews, progressive discipline, and recruitment
  • Monitor morale, ensure cross training and succession planning, validate work quality, and manage staffing model including resource allocation
  • Resolve escalated issues
  • Wear multiple hats such as project manager, project owner, and/or scrum master to ensure target dates are met
  • Advance business and technical solutions by collaborating with the software architects and infrastructure teams regarding emerging technologies
  • Perform HR duties related to managing career dev, training, PTO, and performance/accountability

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of professional experience with at least 6 of those being in a formal leadership role
  • Technical background and former experience as a developer
  • Enterprise knowledge and ability working across multipole channels
  • Able to influence others and bring teams together to deliver results
