Responsibilities:
- Define the data and analytics strategy and data governance program
- Take the lead in planning, evaluating, and selecting the right data science capabilities for the enterprise
- Derive insights, improve decision making, and automate processes by delivering enterprise-wide solutions for complex data challenges
- Work with leadership teams to influence business development, customer relationship management, operational efficiencies, and sales/marketing programs
- Surge from data strategy into data governance to promote data access, quality, and analytical capability
- Develop and maintain controls on data quality, interoperability, and sources to effectively manage risk associated with the use of data and analytics
- Work with business and IT leaders to identify areas of technical needs for future data science capabilities
- Drive the development and deployment of the data and analytics platform
- Serve as the Data Analytics technical advisor
- Collaborate with industry data experts to improve insights derived from various data sources
- Develop, take initiative and lead high-performing teams to deliver effective results
Requirements:
- 10+ years of advanced analytics experience, including progressive experience mining large complex data sets, using a variety of advanced quantitative/modeling techniques in an enterprise analytics discipline
- 8+ years of progressively responsible relevant experience in data management, including creating partnerships, implementing data governance, and understanding the underlying technologies needed to enable data innovation across a midsized or large organization
- 7+ years of leadership experience
- Proficient in an analytics platform, with a broad working knowledge of methodologies used for advanced analytics is required
- Experience in AI/ML, data lake (Azure/Amazon AWS), competitive intelligence, web analytics measurement tools, etc.
- Knowledge of trends and developments in the fields of data management and data analytics
- Information management and quantitative skills
- Demonstrated experience with developing data strategy, policies, and procedures
