Our client is seeking a Security Analyst to join their Cyber Security team. This person will be regarded as a subject matter expert and will provide specific contributions towards the Cybersecurity strategy and tactical roadmap. An in-depth understanding of trends and technologies related to information technology security and compliance will be of utmost importance, and a CISSP is a must.   • Monitor and process response for security events
  • Improve tool usage and workflow in the maturation of monitoring and response capabilities by partnering with the Cybersecurity engineering team
  • Participate in major new system implementation projects
  • Use tools and techniques to collect, analyze and aggregate security metrics data, ensure ongoing system and network health checks, as well as remediation tracking
  • Create foundational documentation such as standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process flows
  • Analyze existing processes and process gaps
  • Drive process improvement and control implementation projects
  • Maintain dashboards that monitor Cybersecurity KPIs
  • Research, develop, and keep abreast of tools, techniques, and process improvements in support of cybersecurity threats and countermeasures
  • Actively engage in the performance of incident response activities
  • Investigate and document events to aid incident responders, managers, and other Cybersecurity team members on security issues
  • Identify security issues generated from the network, including third-party relationships
  • Work as a cross-functional team member in an Agile setting to help complete and deliver the team commitments
  • Report, manage, and monitor risks that are identified to the appropriate team and/or management


  • CISSP required
  • 7+ years of IT technical experience
  • 5+ years of broad-based experience in cybersecurity
  • 5+ years of experience with Linux and/or Windows operating systems
  • 5+ year of information security monitoring and/or incident response
  • Experience driving measurable improvement in monitoring and response capabilities at scale
  • Experience working with a variety of security-related platforms and services
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
