Palmer Group has partnered with its local client on the search for a Network Engineer. This individual will collaborate with team members and third-party service providers to discuss solutions’ conception, evaluation, piloting, engineering, and operation delivery. What you will do:

  • Implement network configurations and edge-based solutions
  • Examine and assess networking and IoT hardware options
  • Maintain expertise in data network security technologies
  • Evaluate, select, and deploy toolsets to manage, measure, monitor, and report device, network, and system characteristics
  • Configure and analyze solutions on a wide variety of IoT devices, including LAN/WAN switch/firewalls, radios, cellular modems, GPUs, IP cameras, and IP security solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IoT-related incidents
  • What you need to be successful:
  • 3+ years of experience in deploying IoT technologies with hands-on experience configuring devices.
  • Knowledge and awareness of the entire IoT stack, including gateway products, agents, sensors, and devices
  • Experience in managing devices remotely and maintaining device inventory
  • Experience working on Linux & Windows
  • Knowledge of PowerShell or Linux Shell scripting
  • Provide escalation support for troubleshooting and resolution of network data and security issues
