Lead Data Scientist (30556)

Are you a Data Scientist, Quantitative Analyst, or Statistician looking for a new challenge? We’re on the hunt for a Lead Data Scientist who will be responsible for building new analytical capabilities for the benefit of internal business partners and credit unions. Responsibilities:

  • Understand existing processes and identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive solutions
  • Provide oversight and guidance to other data science team members
  • Improve products and processes by designing and building custom, AI-driven data models and algorithms
  • Act as a cross-functional team member adhering to Agile principles and philosophies
  • Interpret data analysis and model results for business and technical teams
  • Coordinate with business and technical teams to monitor and implement models
  • Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance
  • Manage, monitor, and report risks

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, Quantitative Analyst, Statistician or similar role
  • 5+ years of experience with open-source statistical programs (R/Python/Scala)
  • 3+ years of experience with SQL and relational databases and exposure to cloud and big data technologies
  • Skilled in being able to tell a story with data and visualizations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
