Information Technology Generalist (30378)

Our local client is searching for an Information Technology Generalist to join their growing team. We are looking for individuals with a well-rounded technology background and excellent customer service skills. Candidates who are organized and have great attention to detail will be the best fit for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver support to end-users in effective usage of computer hardware, software, and security systems through installation, consultation, troubleshooting, and training
  • Connect users to network infrastructure and provide training on navigation and proper usage
  • Install hardware and peripheral components on users’ premises
  • Administer company communication technologies such as email, phones, and messaging services
  • Assist in research and procurement of technology-related equipment that meets the organization’s needs
  • Identify technology security requirements
  • Diagnosis and resolve technology infrastructure errors and issues

Requirements:

  • Outstanding computer and software skills
  • Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of relevant technological developments and their impact on the organization
  • Able to strategically identify forthcoming needs or issues
