Responsibilities:

  • Serve as technical lead to strategic and enterprise-level data-driven projects, collaborates with other areas of ET&S, as well as business units
  • Design, implement and update best practices for the data development team
  • Serve as technical lead and mentor to other data developers and analysts
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to architectural review board and technology review committee
  • Create enterprise-level end-to-end data flow diagrams and logical data models
  • Develop and review complex Talend and Azure Data Factory pipelines for various reporting and data development projects
  • Create and maintain documentation related to data development best practices, enterprise-level data flow diagrams, and project code promotion
  • Serve as technical advisor to database administrators in areas of database optimization, indexing, and data retention
  • Develop and design solutions with security as a critical design requirement for data, systems, and applications
  • Collaborate within the direct team in accordance with Team Agreement, Definition of Ready, and Definition of Done
  • Work as a cross-functional team member in an Agile setting
  • Manage, monitor, and report risks

Requirements:

  • College degree in CIS, data management, data analytics, or similar
  • 10+ years of experience working in a data function or equivalent position
  • Able to analyze enterprise-level data sources and determine relationships between disparate sources
  • Able to determine methodologies for integration with 3rd party data sets
  • Expertise in data warehousing and data modeling methodologies, tools, and best practices
  • Financial industry knowledge is a plus
  • Agile methodologies experience
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft SQL stack including T-SQL, SSRS, and SSIS
  • Skilled at leading large data-driven enterprise projects
  • Strong leadership and communication skills

Hours:

  • Saturdays, Mondays, and Tuesdays: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM Sundays: 12:00pm-10:00pm or Monday night and Saturday morning: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
