Cloud Engineer (30555)

Are you looking to join a reputable company and use your automation skills? We are partnering with our West Des Moines client to hire a Cloud Engineer. This role will be responsible building out automation for on-premises environments and standing up new environments in the Azure cloud. At least two years of experience is a must. Check it out!

Responsibilities:

  • Provide implementation services
  • Assist with the building of automated infrastructure deployments
  • Develop strategies for automated client/server implementations
  • Participate in the design and review of new server systems, applications, and hardware as it relates to automation and cloud
  • Engage in the configuration, layout, and performance tuning of the production infrastructure
  • Ensure automation optimization
  • Modify, maintain, and update software
  • Utilize practices of change, configuration, and release management
  • Manage multiple projects and issues at once

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of related experience
  • Experience working with multiple technology platforms and systems
  • Knowledge and experience with the implementation of “infrastructure as code”
  • Experience in the management of network and security infrastructure and automated server deployments
  • Understanding of DevSecOps tool chains and integrations
  • Working knowledge in one or more technologies such as Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell, Python, Kubernetes, Azure, VMWare, Windows, and Linux
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and mathematical skills
