Desktop Support Specialist (45540)

Our client is looking for a Desktop Support Specialist to assist with transitioning employees from an onsite, office setting to a remote environment. This includes analyzing, researching and resolving hardware and software issues and documenting current processes and troubleshooting steps while working to create efficiencies. Responsibilities:

  • Perform equipment inventory checkout
  • Tear down desk equipment
  • Complete tier 1 desktop support work (replacing hardware/installation of software)
  • Provide mobile device support
  • Perform Thin Client imaging

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of IT Service Desk experience
  • Working knowledge of Windows operating systems
  • Working knowledge of mobile operating systems (IOS, Android, and Windows)
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory
  • Basic knowledge of server and printing technologies
  • Working knowledge of VMWare
  • Working knowledge of McAfee Endpoint
  • Excellent communication, time management, and customer service skills
